PharmAccess and SOFPOG to Host Free CPD Webinar on Lifestyle Medicine and the Role of NkwaPlus
Healthcare professionals across Ghana are invited to participate in a FREE Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Webinar jointly organized by PharmAccess and the Society of Family Physicians of Ghana (SOFPOG).
The webinar, themed “Lifestyle Medicine: The Role of NkwaPlus,” will explore how evidence-based lifestyle interventions and innovative digital health solutions can improve the prevention and management of chronic diseases while strengthening primary healthcare delivery in Ghana. Scheduled for Tuesday, 30th June 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the virtual event will bring together experts in family medicine, public health, and lifestyle medicine to share practical insights and experiences.
The session will be moderated by Dr Baaba Damoah, Family Physician and President of SOFPOG.
Speakers include: Dr Gifty Sunkwa-Mills, Public Health Physician Specialist and Program Director, PharmAccess, Dr Jacqueline Thompson, International Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician and Kwasi Owusu Antwi, Project Manager,PharmAccess.
Participants will gain valuable knowledge on the principles of lifestyle medicine, the integration of digital health innovations such as NkwaPlus, and practical approaches to promoting healthier lifestyles within primary care settings.
